How we report
Our aim is to make Pokémon updates understandable, useful and easy to check. This policy explains how Poké News by SQ is produced.
Sources and attribution
We use official announcements where available and identified specialist reporting for additional coverage. Source links appear at the bottom of articles. Our summaries are written in our own words; artwork retains its relevant credit. A report is not presented as official confirmation.
Automation and review
Our workflow uses automated source discovery and AI-assisted drafting alongside manual research and editing. Some articles are published through automated checks; not every article receives a human review before publication. We check for source support, relevant images and duplicate coverage, but errors can still occur.
What readers should expect
Articles explain the topic, the actual news and our takeaway. We identify regional release differences and uncertainty. Preview galleries show the cards available to verify, rather than implying a complete final checklist. Images used for historical context or earlier previews should be described that way.
Dates, prices and changing details
Publication dates are not refreshed just to make old news look new. Updates should explain changed facts. Prices are snapshots with a source and reporting date, not a promise of current stock or checkout cost. Check the linked retailer or in-game notice before acting.
Opinions and commercial disclosure
The takeaway is our editorial interpretation. It is separate from the source announcement. Any paid placement, sponsorship or affiliate relationship associated with coverage should be disclosed with that coverage. Product links alone do not establish an endorsement or a guarantee.
Corrections
Email Sidequestvibe@gmail.com with the article URL and supporting information. When correcting a material factual error, we aim to explain the correction in the article and preserve a working link. Overlapping coverage may be consolidated.
