Animated Pokédex returns with new shorts three days a week
The Cloudy Trails season releases on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays through mainland Chinese video platforms.
Before we dive in
Animated Pokédex is a series of short animations focused on Pokémon ecology and everyday behaviour. Think little windows into their world, rather than another long-running adventure following a human trainer.
Different studios produce its seasons. That makes the studio and release platforms useful context when a new season is announced: the schedule for one region does not automatically apply to every international channel.
The update
Animated Pokédex is back with Cloudy Trails, its sixth season. The new shorts offer small glimpses into Pokémon life, with a regular release schedule on mainland Chinese video platforms.
Shykeumo Animation Studio produces Cloudy Trails. New episodes are scheduled every Monday, Wednesday and Friday on mainland Chinese services including Bilibili, Weibo and Douyin. Bulbagarden links both the trailer and the first short for viewers who want a preview.
Earlier shorts have appeared on Pokémon YouTube channels in various languages. The source does not give an international YouTube release date for this new season, so the confirmed schedule should not be read as a worldwide launch timetable.
