Pokémon Champions announces an October doubles competition
Global Challenge 2027 II brings doubles battles October 30–November 2 UTC, with Basculegion for completing three battles.

Before we dive in
Pokémon Champions focuses on battles between player-built Pokémon teams. In doubles battles, two Pokémon fight on each side at once, so teamwork between their moves and abilities matters.
An online competition has a registration period and a separate battle window. It differs from the everyday ranked season. Championship Points are part of organized competitive qualification, and eligibility depends on the player’s region.
The update
A second Champions competition is on the calendar, separate from October’s Monthly Challenge. Global Challenge 2027 II uses doubles battles and offers a participation Pokémon as well as regional competitive opportunities.
Global Challenge 2027 II uses Regulation M-C. Registration opens October 23 at 02:00 UTC and closes November 2 at 01:59 UTC. Battles run from October 30 at 02:00 UTC through November 2 at 01:59 UTC.
Players completing at least three battles receive Basculegion. The announcement describes completing battles, not winning all three, so the participation reward is distinct from placing highly.
Eligible players in Play! Pokémon regions can earn Championship Points. In Japan and Korea, the event offers a route to national-competition qualifiers. This is separate from the single-battle Monthly Challenge and its Sirfetch’d reward.
