Magmortar’s new Delta Reign illustration turns up the heat
The English Magmortar Illustration Rare is revealed ahead of Delta Reign’s November 6 release.
Before we dive in
The Pokémon Trading Card Game is both a physical card game and a collecting hobby. Expansion sets add new cards, while different rarities can give the same Pokémon different artwork or finishes.
Collectors may follow an illustration because they like its art, while players examine its attacks and abilities. A card reveal shows a particular design; it does not automatically confirm every detail of an unreleased expansion.
The update
An English Magmortar Illustration Rare has been revealed for Delta Reign. The artwork puts the Fire-type Pokémon in a volcanic setting, giving collectors another design to examine before the expansion arrives.
This reveal concerns Magmortar’s illustrated treatment, rather than its first appearance in the set. A regular version had already appeared in prerelease-product coverage. The same report also notes English reveals of Sableye and the Tasty Rice Ball Trainer card.
Delta Reign belongs to the Mega Evolution line and is scheduled for November 6, 2026. The source provides the card image, so collectors can inspect the artwork and printed details without relying on a product listing or an estimated market price.
