Before we dive in

Pokémon GO is a mobile game about discovering and collecting Pokémon. Players catch Pokémon, hatch Eggs and trade with other players to build their collections.

Events change which Pokémon and activities are available for a limited time. A Shiny Pokémon has a different colour scheme; an event debut does not mean every encounter will be Shiny. Check the announced dates before planning your playtime.

The update

Today is Zorua’s turn in the Pokémon GO spotlight. Community Day runs for three hours in your local time zone, with boosted encounters and catching bonuses.

Zorua appears more frequently on October 10 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. The event offers triple catch experience, double catch candy, and three-hour Incense, so the afternoon window is the main time to plan around.

Evolving Zorua into Zoroark during the featured-attack window gives Zoroark Sucker Punch. Check the full event guide for the evolution cutoff and any extra bonuses before spending candy. The attack reward is tied to evolving, rather than simply catching a Zorua.
