Pokémon Sleep’s Mew and Darkrai New Moon event is now live
The event runs until October 13 at 3:59 a.m. local time. Special encounters can appear only in your first daily sleep research.

Before we dive in
Pokémon Sleep is a mobile game that turns recorded sleep into Pokémon research. After a sleep session, players discover visiting Pokémon and offer snacks to build friendship; becoming full can stop a Pokémon from accepting more snacks.
A special encounter rate creates an opportunity, not a guaranteed visit. Mew and Darkrai are Mythical Pokémon, making this event about unusual research encounters rather than a new game mode.
The update
The New Moon event we previewed is now rolling out in Pokémon Sleep. It offers special encounter chances for Mew and Darkrai, with important daily-session limits.
The event runs October 10 at 4:00 a.m. through October 13 at 3:59 a.m. in all areas. Mew and Darkrai can appear regardless of sleep type. During the first snack time, Pokémon are less likely to become full.
Only one special-rate Pokémon can appear during the first research of a day; none appear during the second. Encounters remain uncertain, and chances rise slightly after misses. Each special encounter adds three friendship points. Event days roll over at 4:00 a.m.
