Misty’s Psyduck headlines China’s Gem Pack Vol. 7
Gem Pack Vol. 7 arrives in China November 6 with 196 holo cards and a new Misty’s Psyduck illustration.
Before we dive in
The Pokémon Trading Card Game is a physical card game and collecting hobby. The same playable card can appear with different illustrations, finishes and languages, so artwork collectors often distinguish a particular printing from the underlying card.
Regional releases do not always share identical artwork. A reveal for China is not an announcement of an English edition, and a beautiful preview does not establish a future resale price.
The update
Psyduck’s headache is apparently a scheduling meeting: China’s next Gem Pack arrives November 6, with new artwork of Misty’s Psyduck among its collecting highlights.
PokéBeach reports that Gem Pack Vol. 7 features 28 Pokémon, each represented by seven numbered cards: six holo versions of the regular illustration and one Illustration Rare. That produces a 196-card lineup, with four random cards in each pack. The theme includes Pokémon associated with their Trainers.
A Psyduck binder is also planned for November 6. The newly revealed Misty’s Psyduck illustration is expected to remain China-exclusive, but that does not amount to a confirmed announcement about future English products. No verified retail price or purchase link is supplied in this report.
