Pokémon GO’s Boston City Safari moves to October 24–25 for existing ticket holders
Boston City Safari’s rescheduled gameplay runs globally October 24–25 for existing ticket holders; some Eevee research still requires Boston PokéStops.

Before we dive in
Pokémon GO City Safari is a ticketed event with themed encounters and research. Timed Research has a completion deadline; Special Research is a separate task line, so a change between the two affects how players should plan.
An event being available globally does not necessarily make it free or open to everyone. Ticket eligibility and location-specific tasks still matter in this rescheduling announcement.
The update
Previously announced but important for ticket holders: severe weather changed Boston City Safari’s plans. The replacement weekend is October 24–25.
Wild encounters and bonuses run worldwide from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time for existing ticket holders only. Replacement Timed Research offers Flabébé, Hawlucha, Mudbray, and Komala. There is no Boston stamp rally and no further ticket sale.
Additional Special Research can award explorer-hat Eevee with Boston backgrounds, but its tasks require spinning Boston PokéStops. Keeping the ticket requires no action. Refund requests must start through in-app support before the official October 20 deadline; refunded players lose access and cannot repurchase.
