Pokémon GO will introduce Minior during meteor-shower windows
The first announced window is October 19–24, with more appearances planned around later meteor showers.

Before we dive in
Pokémon GO regularly introduces Pokémon through timed appearances. A debut window matters because a species may not be part of ordinary everyday encounters.
Minior is a meteor-like Pokémon with a shell and a colorful core. Its appearance and battle behavior are part of what makes this new catch distinctive.
The update
Minior’s arrival is following a real-world sky calendar. You can hunt it in the game without becoming an astronomer.
The announced first window is October 19–24, around the Orionids. Minior is set to appear in Meteor Form and reveal its core in trainer battles below half health.
More meteor-shower windows are planned. The announcement does not identify which core color belongs to each shower.
