Watch Pokémon’s Louisville Regionals: card battles and more this weekend
Watch Louisville’s card battles today from noon Eastern; separate streams cover Pokémon Champions and Pokémon GO.
Before we dive in
Regional Championships are in-person Pokémon competitions. The trading card game uses physical decks, while video-game battles and Pokémon GO have separate competitions. Each broadcast follows its own matches, so viewers can choose the game they enjoy.
For card collectors curious about competitive play, watching a match is a way to see how cards work together. Tournament coverage is about playing decks rather than opening packs, and commentary can help explain decisions during a game.
The update
Louisville’s tournament weekend is underway, with separate broadcasts for three Pokémon competitions. If you want a card-battle watch party, the TCG stream is the one to pick.
The event is at Kentucky International Convention Center, with the overall weekend listed as October 9–11. October 10 is the first competition broadcast day. Serebii lists streams for the trading card game, Pokémon Champions, and Pokémon GO.
Today’s TCG coverage starts at 12:00 p.m. Eastern, or 11:00 a.m. Central. Video-game coverage starts at 9:15 a.m. Eastern and GO at 9:45 a.m. Eastern. These are scheduled broadcast starts, not a promise that a particular match begins then.
Serebii’s Play! Pokémon Stream Hub brings the broadcasts together. Follow the tournament page’s stream section to watch your preferred competition; check the organizers’ updates for delays and the next day’s schedule.
