Masters EX brings Team Rocket sync pairs back into the scout lineup
The Team Rocket scout offers Giovanni and four admins with their Pokémon through November 5; recruitment remains chance-based.
Before we dive in
Pokémon Masters EX pairs a Trainer with a Pokémon as a sync pair, then builds battles around teams of those pairs. Story events combine themed scenes with battles and rewards.
A scout is a recruitment system with its own rules, availability and costs. An event returning does not mean every featured pair is automatically given to every player who reads the story.
The update
Team Rocket is back in Pokémon Masters EX’s recruitment lineup. The new scout offers chances at Giovanni and the Rocket admins, with an availability window running into November.
The scout includes Giovanni with Rhydon, Archer with Houndoom, Ariana with Arbok, Petrel with Weezing and Proton with Golbat. Serebii’s October 19 report lists November 5 as the closing date. These are Trainer-and-Pokémon sync pairs, rather than a separate game mode.
A place in the scout lineup means an opportunity to recruit a pair, not a guaranteed reward for every player. Check the featured rates, costs and availability inside the game before using resources. The announcement is specifically about recruitment, so it should not be confused with the returning Lacey story event.
