McDonald’s Pokémon card promotion is reported for November
A US Happy Meal promotion is reported for November 5–December 9; the 15-card lineup remains unknown.
Before we dive in
McDonald’s has previously included small Pokémon Trading Card Game packs in Happy Meal promotions. These are physical cards, unlike the cards collected inside TCG Pocket.
Earlier promotions have used a compact selection of cards rather than an entire retail expansion. Old packaging can show the idea, but cannot tell us what this year’s cards will be.
The update
A Happy Meal card promotion is reportedly coming back. The calendar has more detail than the card list so far.
PokéBeach reports US dates of November 5–December 9 and a 15-card selection. Other countries may have different dates. The report is preliminary and subject to change.
The featured Pokémon are not yet known. A Pokémon toy or handbook is reported as a choice, but the suggestion that the toy is a card display is unconfirmed. Past pack formats are not confirmation of this year’s contents.
