Mega Heatran ex leads Japan’s November Gym promo cards
Japan’s November 1 Gym promo selection includes Mega Heatran ex, Lebanne and five other cards; an English date remains unconfirmed.
Before we dive in
The physical Pokémon Trading Card Game distributes some promotional cards through organised local events. A Gym promo pack is an event reward product, rather than the same thing as a regular expansion booster.
Alternate artwork changes a card’s illustration, while a stamped reprint adds an event identifier to an existing design. Japanese promotional availability does not by itself establish an English release date or tournament legality in another region.
The update
Mega Heatran ex is joining Japan’s next Gym tournament promo pack alongside a new Lebanne Supporter. The reveal also includes alternate artwork and stamped reprints, giving players and collectors different reasons to look.
The seven-card promo selection is scheduled for Japanese Gym tournaments from November 1. PokéBeach reports two packs for participants and an additional pack for the winner. Mega Heatran ex and Lebanne are new cards; Gastly and Golett receive alternate art, with the remaining cards described as stamped reprints.
Mega Heatran ex reduces incoming attack damage while at full HP, and its attack becomes stronger on the following turn. Lebanne is a healing Supporter whose result depends on a coin flip.
