Mighty Metagross returns to Scarlet and Violet’s seven-star raids
Mighty Metagross’s Steel Tera raid returns until October 22 at 23:59 UTC, with one catch allowed per save file.

Before we dive in
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are role-playing games with Tera Raid Battles: group challenges against a powerful Pokémon. A Tera Type changes the defensive type the boss uses during the encounter.
Seven-star raids are high-difficulty events aimed at developed teams. The special boss is subject to a catch limit, so repeating a battle does not mean collecting unlimited copies of its featured Pokémon.
The update
Scarlet and Violet players have another chance to challenge Mighty Metagross. The returning raid features a Steel Tera Type and a limited catch, so this is a team-preparation moment rather than a casual stroll.
Mighty Metagross is appearing in seven-star raids with the Steel Tera Type. The current rerun ends October 22 at 23:59 UTC, according to Serebii’s event report. Players can catch only one from this raid event per save file, as with earlier seven-star distributions.
The return is useful for players who missed the earlier event; it does not remove that catch restriction. Check access to the event in your game, prepare a trained team and plan around the UTC deadline. The Steel typing is part of this particular raid encounter.
