Japan’s new Pokémon binders give every species a numbered slot

What does a numbered binder do?

A trading-card binder stores cards in page pockets. A Pokédex is Pokémon’s numbered species catalogue. These binders combine the two: printed numbers show where each species belongs.

The collection is split by generation, the groups of Pokémon introduced across successive games. Buying one binder does not give you all nine generations.

The update

Pokémon Center Japan is releasing binders built for collectors who want their cards in species order. The printed slots turn an empty pocket into a visible collection gap.

The nine binders launch October 16. Each includes ten double-sided pages, with generation-specific numbers, plus an index sheet.

Designs feature starter Pokémon silhouettes, evolutions, and legendary Pokémon. Binders are listed at 2,420 yen each; matching refill packs contain blank pages. This is a Japan release, not an announced US launch.
