Four new Growlithe Poké Lids are coming to Okinawa
Okinawa’s four new Growlithe Poké Lids connect public artwork with planned Pokémon HOME and GO collecting features.

Before we dive in
Poké Lids are illustrated utility-hole covers featuring Pokémon, installed as local attractions in Japan. Their designs connect Pokémon artwork with real places, making a small piece of infrastructure into a sightseeing destination.
A reveal of new designs is different from a promise that every location is already accessible. Travellers should confirm installation and visiting information before building a route around a newly announced cover.
The update
Okinawa’s latest Pokémon reveal belongs under your feet. Four new Poké Lids feature Growlithe alongside other Pokémon, adding more illustrated stops for fans following Japan’s public-art trail.
Four new designs have been revealed for Okinawa Prefecture, with Growlithe appearing as the prefecture’s ambassador Pokémon. Serebii reports that the covers will also be represented through a Pokémon HOME medal and additions to the Poké Lid Stamp Rally in Pokémon GO.
The announcement combines physical artwork with digital collecting, rather than a new trading-card product. Exact installation and rally availability should be checked through the relevant destination or game information before a visit. The pictured designs show what has been announced, not proof of live access at every site.
