Pokémon TCG Pocket plans slower pack releases and more ways to collect
Pocket’s next series plans roughly six-week pack cycles, new collecting rewards and more accessible deck-building; details remain subject to change.

Before we dive in
Pokémon TCG Pocket is a digital card-collecting and battling game. You open virtual packs, assemble decks and complete missions; its cards and progression are separate from the physical Pokémon Trading Card Game.
A rental deck lets you try a prepared deck without owning its full contents. An immersive card adds an animated presentation to its artwork, while collection missions award rewards for meeting specified card-collecting goals.
The update
Pokémon TCG Pocket’s next series aims to give collections a little breathing room. The October producer letter outlines a slower pack schedule, more mission rewards and easier ways to try decks.
The producers plan a roughly six-week booster cycle instead of approximately four weeks, starting with the new series at the end of October. The letter also previews dual-type Pokémon, immersive cards earned through collection missions, weekly First Partners special packs and themed illustrated promo rewards.
Community Decks will help players copy deck lists using their own cards. Rental decks are planned to have unlimited uses and support versus battles. Other plans include restricted-card battle events, better trade-partner collection information and clearer sharing wishlists. The letter explicitly says features and timing remain under development.
