Pokopia’s Halloween event brings Pumpkaboo, Gourgeist and spooky decorations
Pokopia’s event runs October 17–November 1 and adds Pumpkaboo, Gourgeist, two habitats and nine decorations.
Before we dive in
Pokémon Pokopia is a life-simulation game in which you build spaces and habitats for Pokémon. Habitats are arrangements that attract particular Pokémon, so furniture can help you meet new residents as well as decorate.
Limited-time events introduce special requests and rewards. Event currency is used for the associated exchanges; checking the event window helps you avoid leaving an unfinished shopping list behind.
The update
Pokopia is opening its doors to some very seasonal neighbours. Pumpkaboo’s Sweet Surprises adds two Pokémon and a collection of decorations, with candy trading at the centre of the event.
The event runs from October 17 at 5:00 a.m. to November 1 at 4:59 a.m., using local time. Pumpkaboo appears at the Pokémon Center, where its request sends you to play tricks on other Pokémon and collect pumpkin candy for exchanges.
Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist join the game alongside two habitats and nine decorations. The catalogue includes ghostly smoke, a coffin-inspired locker and pumpkin lanterns. Exchanging for all the items also unlocks the Trick or Treat frame. Check the event request for the exchange costs before spending your candy.
