What is this collaboration?

Pokémon Center is Pokémon’s official merchandise retailer. It sells physical products such as plush toys, clothing, and accessories for trading cards. ESA stands for European Space Agency, the organization partnering with Pokémon on this space-themed range.

Astronaut Pikachu is Pikachu dressed for the space theme. This story concerns merchandise you can buy, rather than a new Pokémon species or a new game.

The update

Pokémon’s latest merchandise crossover puts familiar characters in a space-exploration theme. The collaboration with the European Space Agency spans plushes, clothing, and accessories, with some products available and others still planned.

The Pokémon Center × European Space Agency range includes astronaut plushes, apparel, and trading-card accessories. US products have launched, while the selection and timing differ across regional stores.

A figure and a puzzle are also planned, but the coverage does not give their launch dates. An item being announced for the collection does not mean it can already be ordered.

If a particular item catches your eye, check your regional Pokémon Center listing for its current availability. The collection announcement describes the range; individual listings tell you what is actually on sale.
