Pokémon TCG announces Champions League Chiba for November 22–23
Japan’s Champions League Chiba takes place November 22–23; competitors must register in advance, while general spectators can attend without a lottery.

Before we dive in
The Pokémon Trading Card Game has organized tournaments as well as collecting and casual play. Japan’s Champions League is a card tournament series, separate from the Pokémon Champions video game despite the similar names.
Competitor entry and spectator admission follow different rules. Being allowed to watch does not mean you can join the tournament on arrival; the organizer’s application instructions determine who can compete.
The update
Japan’s next big card-battle date is set. An October 9 announcement confirms Champions League Chiba for November 22–23, 2026.
The event takes place at Makuhari Messe exhibition halls 4–6. Tournament participation requires advance application; walk-in competition is not available. The organizer lists admission as free and allows general spectators to attend without an advance lottery.
Senior and Masters competitors must bring photo identification. Masters players also need a smartphone with their LINE account and Sekanavi. Check the official Japanese instructions for entry details before booking travel; watching and competing are different plans.
