Pokémon GO is a mobile game about discovering and collecting Pokémon. Players catch Pokémon, hatch Eggs and trade with other players to build their collections.
Events change which Pokémon and activities are available for a limited time. A Shiny Pokémon has a different colour scheme; an event debut does not mean every encounter will be Shiny. Check the announced dates before planning your playtime.
The update
The annual Dia de Muertos event in Pokémon GO brings exclusive rewards and increased Pokémon spawns, making it an exciting time for players to build their collections.
The Dia de Muertos event will run from October 27th at 10:00 to November 5th at 20:00 local time throughout Mexico. During this time, Incense and Poffin duration will be doubled. Timed Research will offer rewards including Cubone with a cempasuchil crown, Stickers, Experience, and Stardust.
Cubone will spawn more frequently on Incense. In Mexico City, a special event from October 31st to November 5th will feature additional Timed Research with encounters including Sunflora and Duskull with a cempasúchil crown and background.
